This will depend on your chosen course or education. Entry requirements vary from a pass in English and Maths at GCSE level to the equivalent of A-levels.
For some courses you will need to document relevant experience or present a portfolio.
You need to demonstrate a good level of written and spoken English. This may have to be documented in a IELTS test.
The vocational programme is open to students aged 16+.

Studying Art & Design, you will work with a wide range of media and materials, build up a portfolio of your work, and study famous artists and designers. This is a great practical course if you have a passion for the arts, where you’ll have the chance to develop your creative abilities, work with professional equipment and develop a specialisation.
This is a vibrant and practical course where you will learn about a range of processes, techniques, ideas and concepts related to textiles and the fashion industry. You will work within studios and develop an understanding of different theories, all the while compiling a portfolio of your own work. There will also be opportunities to visit galleries and develop your own interests and specialisations
On this course, you will learn about a number of graphic design techniques and processes through a mixture of practical and studio work, as well as the importance of communication through graphic design. You will have the opportunity to work with modern facilities and fully-equipped studios, and have the chance to visit galleries and learn from experts in the field.
By studying Performing Arts, you will cover a lot of different aspects of performance, such as acting, dance, theatre, music and drama. You will have plenty of opportunities to perform and take part in productions, building up a portfolio of your work, and you will see a great selection of performing arts facilities such as onsite theatres and dance studios.
If you are a passionate photographer, this is the perfect course for you. You will develop your skills and learn about editing, layouts and a variety of photography techniques. A lot of practical and studio work will be involved, and you will build up an extensive portfolio, as well as having the opportunity to visit galleries and exhibitions.
This is a fantastic course to learn more about the behind-the-scenes of theatre and TV productions. You will have the opportunity to work on productions and learn more about lighting and sound. You will develop your practical skills, have the chance to take part in workshops and attend regular performances to continue your learning.
On this course, you will learn about the art of applying make up, prosthetics and body art, as well as exploring costumes and props, with the opportunity to learn from industry-expert tutors. Case work and projects are common, and you will develop your practical skills while building up a portfolio of your work, leading to a potential career in theatre, film or TV.
Studying Upholstery and Furnishings, you will develop your practical skills and learn about design, manufacture and production within the industry. You might study areas such as textiles and woodwork, as well as working on projects related to both man-made and machine-made objects. Whilst learning from expert tutors, you will build up a portfolio of your work.
